Roman
Victorinous (268 - 270)
I
found this Victorinous Usurper in a solid lump of clay. Your
first instinct is to bash the lump with your spade to open
it up and then common sense kicks in and you spend the next
ten minutes gently chipping bits off and hoping it will be
worth the effort. I am glad to say that this time it was well
worth the effort.
The
coin actually looks better in real life than my scanner has
done justice to it, as it is really in quite good condition.
